5 ways to die in Mumbai

In the wake of the latest foot overbridge collapse at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) railway station in Mumbai, we take a look at five bizarre ways in which people can lose their lives in a city.

Walk on an FOB: You can either get killed in a stampede or if the portion of the bridge under you collapses.

Hang outside a crowded local train: This is perhaps the most common way for a Mumbaikar to lose his precious life.

Walk under a helicopter/ plane: It could come crashing into you and kill you. (No joking, this actually happens.)

Stand under a tree: It could fall on you, and claim your life.

Stay in a dilapidated building: Sooner or later it may come crashing down.
