Bhopal: Man seeks money from party workers posing as BJP office bearer Suhas Bhagat, police clueless

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): An unidentified miscreant created a fake Facebook account of state BJP general secretary Suhas Bhagat and demanded money from the party workers.

A complaint was lodged with the crime branch on Thursday. The accused remains to be arrested. The complainant Raghavendra Sharma who is a BJP office bearer said two workers informed BJP about the incident.

They said they received message from Bhagat’s Facebook account that he needs money. The workers agreed and they offered to give money in cash, but the accused asked them to transfer money online.

Crime branch officials said the accused only sent the messages. He asked two workers to give money but they suspected him as he did not accept cash. They informed BJP office bearers. Bhagat came to know about the incident on Thursday and he lodged a police complaint, said Sharma.
