Ujjain: The Kshir Sagar branch of the Narmada-Jhabua Gramin Bank (NJGB) was inaugurated on Thursday.
In his address, chief guest, collector Sanket Bhondve said the bank had good network in rural areas. With the introduction of the e-governance, cashless banking would be introduced soon, he said.The collector stated that he would chair DLCC meeting every month.
Bank drafts and keys of vehicles, for the loans sanctioned under the Chief Minister Self Employment Scheme were presented.
Senior social worker Vijendra Jain, Dr Paras Shrimal, bank chairman KV Raghvendra, general manager RK Gupta, RL Naigaonkar, zonal manager Praveen Dongre, the new branch manager Mukesh Shrimal and others were present.
