Big B Thanks Balki For PAA

ews is that megastar Amitabh Bachchan’s film ‘Paa’ completed five years recently for which Big Btook to microblogging site Twitter where he thanked director R. Balakrishnan for coming up with an “innovative creativity”. It’s noted that the movie was released on Decmebr 4, 2009. The film’s story revolves around the relationship of a politician (played by Abhishek Bachchan) with his son (essayed by Amitabh), who suffers from a disease that causes him to age rapidly.

Thanking Balki, SrBachchan tweeted, “Paa’ released today (Thursday) 5 years ago!!! Thank you Balki for this ‘innovative’ creativity..NOW… ‘Shamitabh’… booommbaa!!” Meanwhile, the actor-director duo are working together on their next project ‘Shamitabh’, which also features Dhanush and marks the Bollywood debut of southern superstar actor Kamal Haasan’s daughter Akshara. The film is expected to hit the screens on February6 next year.N

Big B Wraps Up ‘Piku’  

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has completed filming Shoojit Sircar’s directorial “Piku”.  “Confetti and cheers … applause and thank you pictures… crew photo opps and some emotions!! ‘Piku’ shoot for me is done!,” Amitabh tweeted Friday.  Irrfan took to Twitter and shared a photograph in which he is seen hugging Big B and giving him a kiss on the cheek. “@SrBachchan’s last day of the shoot for #PIKU# couldn’t resist, I had to kiss him,” Irrfan shared. The movie, which also stars Deepika Padukone, will hit the screens April 30, 2015, reports IANS.
