Watch: Akshay Kumar meets BSF jawans guarding the LoC, pays homage to fallen braves

Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar on Thursday (June 17) met BSF Jawans who guard the LoC.

The actor, who often engages in activities for national causes, arrived at a forward post in North Kashmir’s Gurez and attended a wreath-laying ceremony alongside DG BSF Sh Rakesh Asthana.

Several pictures and videos of Akshay from the location have surfaced online.

The 53-year-old actor was spotted wearing cargo pants with a beige T-shirt and arrived at the said location in a helicopter. He completed his look with a cap and a pair of shades.

"As the country is entering into the 75th year of Independence, @akshaykumar once again comes to meet the #bravehearts guarding the borders. Here he arrives at one of the forward locations of @BSF_Kashmir on LoC," the official Twitter handle of BSF posted along with the video.

Akshay had previously met the BSF soldiers in 2019 during the release of his film 'Kesari'.

He had posted videos along with the soldiers on his Instagram. In one of the videos, the actor was seen showcasing his boxing and kickboxing skills.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Akshay recently announced the release date of his much-awaited spy-thriller 'Bell Bottom'. The film is scheduled to release on July 27 in cinemas.

The actor was last seen 'Laxmii, a horror-comedy that was released on the OTT platform.

He has several films in the pipeline including Rohit Shetty's 'Sooryavanshi'. He has completed the shoot of 'Atrangi Re', 'Prithviraj', and 'Bachchan Pandey' and is currently shooting for 'Ram Setu'.
