South Korean star Park Seo-Joon, known for his incredible acting talent and boasting a roster of super hit projects, could be a part of the Captain Marvel sequel.
Park Seo-Joon, who was also a part of the Oscar-winning 2019 film 'Parasite', has bagged his first Marvel project and reportedly, the actor has been cast in an unknown role for the sequel titled 'The Marvels'.
His role in the film is said to be 'huge' for the star as it marks his big debut into American mainstream cinema.
On Tuesday, Star News reported that Park Seo-Joon has completed an internal review. According to the report, a source from the film industry revealed this to the news outlet. It also stated that the actor will be leaving for the US in the second half of this year, after his current filming of movie 'Concrete Utopia' ends.
Seo-joon is known for his roles in romantic comedies such as 'What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim', 'She Was Pretty' as well as the 'Itaewon Class'.
He has also acted in popular shows such as 'Fight for My Way', 'Hwarang' and more.
It may be mentioned that Park Seo-Joon will be the second Korean actor to enter the MCU. First was the Korean-American actor Ma Dong Seok, who is playing the role of a superhero in 'Eternals'.
Also, according to reports, there are rumours that the film would be an adaptation of the comic-book event Secret Invasion, which will have its own Disney Plus show.
