Madhya Pradesh: Dinosaur Fossils Park in Dhar to also offer rain dance, laser show to tourists

Dhar: The state's first Dinosaur Fossils Park, which is about 30 km from Dhar district headquarters and just 5 km from Mandu, will be opened for tourists with the end of the lockdown.

Collector Alok Kumar Singh said that the site has easy access, pleasant weather, scenic attractions, historical importance, accommodation facilities, entertainment and the fulfilment of arrangements for security so it can become a good tourist spot in India.

Necessary construction work in Dinosaur Fossil Park is nearing completion. Collector Singh along with district panchayat CEO Ashish Vashisht visited the park. Collector Alok Singh said that the Dinosaur Park will offer unique Fossils Museum which will showcase eggs of dinosaur.

Tourists will get information about the history of 6.5 million years of dinosaurs through laser show.

Similarly, a rain dancing floor is being prepared along with four ponds, four gardens, cottages in the park spread over an area of ??about 10 acres. A food zone has also been created in the park and it also has outlets for selling local products. A recreation hall, dance floor and a gallery have also been built for the entertainment of the tourists. Eight airconditioned cottages are also ready. There are plans to build five more cottages.
