Madhya Pradesh: Kill Corona Campaign underway in Barwani, door-to-door surveys on the go

Barwani: Under the Kill Corona-4 campaign contact tracing is underway in the district.

Door-to-door surveys are being done in villages or wards where there is more than one cases.


Screening team comprising ASHA, Anganwadi workers, assistants, village employment assistants, members of public campaigns and field workers of Nagar Panchayat for Nagar Panchayat is working in rural areas.


The positivity rate of corona is now less than 0.50% in the district.

Random sampling of people is also being done to keep tabs on incidence of corona. Vaccination of traders is underway on priority.

Private hospitals with less than 30 beds not to offer free treatment to corona patients

In the wake of the decline in corona patients across the state, the government has ordered that private hospitals with less than 30 beds will not offer free treatment to corona patients under Ayushman Bharat Niramayam scheme.

Sharing the details about the order collector Shivraj Singh Verma said, "Gurupad Hospital Barwani and Karuna Hospital Sendhwa will not be able to offer treatment to corona patients under Ayushman Bharat scheme."
