Mumbai: Collection of tetra paks launched at Bay View Marina for Cuffe Parade/Colaba residents on World Environment Day 2021

This World Environment day, the Clean Mumbai Foundation in partnership with CPRA promoted the "Go Green with Tetra Pak" initiative.

Go Green with Tetra Pak is a program that recycles used beverage cartons into benches and school desks. Recycled cartons will be used to make furniture for schools in the city.

"We are excited that our used cartons will be used for a good cause and we urge all Cuffe Paradians/Colaba residents to deposit their cartons for recycling and go green! A collection bin has been placed in the Bay View Marina and residents are requested to contact us for collection of the used tetrapaks," said the Clean Mumbai Foundation member.

The collection was inaugurated by CPRA president Ms. Aditi Jain on world environment day 2021

"We again thank to our esteemed participants from our city and Poland Consulate, German Consulate and Swiss Consulate for their valuable support for our Plastic Milk Bag collection Project, E-waste Collection Project and Pet Bottles Collection Project, since last two years," said the foundation member.

She also thanked Rotary Club of Bombay for their generous donation for pet bottle crushing machine and Hemendra Kothari Foundation

These projects are managed in association with Har Ghar Hara Ghar and Garbage Free India.
