  • Relief measures to transporters who are facing difficulties due to corona and diesel inflation

  • A solution to the traffic congestion on highways

  • Parking terminals for trucks and other heavy vehicles

  • It has been decided to start cinemas and theatres at 50 per cent capacity, but the condition of 50 per cent capacity should be relaxed.

Uddhav Thackeray, after the discussion, said that the government will soon find a solution for the lockdown affected transporters.

The federation of transporters said that they are in financial trouble because of a pandemic. Therefore, provisions like - exemption from annual motor vehicle tax, business tax and complete exemption of motor tax on vehicles transporting passengers to schools and religious places, provision of parking space for vehicles and buses across the state, reduction of tax on air-conditioned buses transporting workers, heavy and heavy vehicles - should be undertaken.

Thackeray thus directed the relevant authorities to find a proper solution for the same.
