As an important part of India’s global outreach, PM Narendra Modi has convinced to establish June 21 as International Yoga Day, leading thousands of people across the globe to celebrate each year. With Yoga Day being days away, celebrations have already begun, not just in India but across the world. Modi while appreciating efforts of other countries to promote yoga has retweeted pictures posted by Indian embassies in different nations. PM Modi in his tweet urged all the nations to enrich yoga programmes with their participation.
Modi tweeted, “Across all continents, the #YogaDay2019 celebrations have begun with immense fervour. I urge you all to join the Yoga Day programmes in your respective nations and enrich the Yoga programmes with your participation.”
