Ujjain: District Congress Committee ( DCC) has called city bandh for Tuesday to press its demand of conducting Central Bureau of Investigation ( CBI) enquiry in Sanjay Bhargava’s death case.
According to DCC president ( urban) Anantnarayan Meena, workers will visit the markets and appeal the shopkeepers and merchants to close down their shops on Tuesday.
They will appeal the State Government for an unbiased investigation of mining inspector Sanjay Bhargava’s death case by CBI. He further informed that workers will make citizens aware of importance of work done by Bhargava. All sports associations are also supporting city- close on Tuesday.
Office bearers of all units of Congress and sports associations will demand for CBI probe. Meena also questioned the role of police department in grabbing so called ‘ innocent’ accused driver of vehicle, which hit Bhargava.
A meeting was held regarding the city- close at DCC office, Kshirsagar on Monday evening, where all office bearers and workers of Congress units were present.
