Tree felling: HC stay to remain in force

INDORE: The stay order issued by Madhya Pradesh High Court on May 6 against a verdict delivered by special court for investigating allegations levelled against IG Sanjay Rana for felling trees at his government residence and dumping garbage will be effective until further order.

The bench consisting Justices K K Lahoti and Prakash Shrivastava while hearing the application filed by Mahesh Garg made this arrangement on Thursday on the condition that the complainant would furnish an undertaking within three days before the registrar that he would neither interfere in the probe nor try to effect the evidence.
